Quite a disappointing showing by our beloved blues today against a resurgent D.C. United squad losing 2-1 on a sunny afternoon. Patrick Viera marched out a formidable 11 in a crumbling RFK stadium, the first 30 minutes were absolutely flat with the Eagles controlling most of the momentum and possession. Fixing the NYCFC back line

When NYCFC brought in Maxime Chanot, it was a move designed to fix the major issue for this team: The back line. Despite being at the top of the table with 40 goals scored, NYCFC's goal differential is exactly zero. Some blame Josh Saunders, and there is some blame to go there.
